With the Coronavirus outbreak I don't have physical access to their offices, and there is nobody *in* the office now until Monday, so my only option is to work remotely to resolve this issue.ĪNY help that you guys can give me would be most gratefully received. I know from this very helpful post that ShlomiL wrote for PurpleFairy1991 back in 2018 (h30434.that he was able to resolve the issue back then, but I was wondering whether that same technique would work this time around (as it involves a Registry key I'm not happy just going with it until I've consulted the pros - you guys =0)) or whether there's anything else I can do to try and get these machines back up and running ? It says that the printer driver is not yet installed, but when I go through the wizard to (re)install it, it says it has worked, but the printers do not show on the list of available printers, only their *fax* equivalents appear (which is really weird). I have uninstalled the printers and re-installed them and I have uninstalled and re-installed the corresponding HP App and followed it through.
I have remoted-into their network and can see that both printers have a "Driver is unavailable" value appearing underneath them.
Hp printer driver unavailable windows 10 update#
A client of mine called me shortly before close of business yesterday afternoon to say that they had effected a Windows 10 update on various machines in their office and that, after the update had run through, they have been unable to use the two HP OfficeJet Pro 8710s in their office.
